Bristol WordPress People runs regular meetups for anyone interested in WordPress and the wider web — whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced professional.
Our events are relaxed, friendly, and community-focused, with plenty of opportunity to learn, ask questions, and meet other people working with (or learning) WordPress in and around Bristol.
We publish all of our events on Meetup.com. Meetup.com is a website that helps people find and create local groups based on shared interests, and is a platform for organizing in-person or online events so people can meet others who like the same things.
You can view our upcoming events on our Meetup page and you will need to register to attend. Registration and attendance are free.
However, before you can register for an event you will need to join our group. This is simple to do and is free.
What to Expect at Our Meetups
Most of our meetups include:
- A short talk or presentation
- Practical tips you can use straight away
- Time for questions and open discussion
- Informal networking before and after the talks
Some events may also include workshops, panel discussions, or social meetups — we like to keep things varied.
You don’t need to be an expert, and you don’t need to prepare anything in advance. Just come along, listen, and get involved at whatever level feels comfortable for you.
